Bryan Matheson is the owner|operator of Skyline Studios, now in its 22nd year of operation.
Bryan has had extensive experience on both sides of the glass, as a recording engineer and as a session singer, and has won numerous
awards for his film TV, and radio work. As a vocalist, Bryan has a long list of radio and TV and CD credits, as well as a
2006 Grammy nomination for his work with
The Pacific Mozart Ensemble
on the Leonard Bernstein Mass, performed and recorded with Kent Nagano at
The Berlin Philharmonic. In November 2005, The Pacific Mozart Ensemble performed at
Carnegie Hall with renowned New York composer
Meredith Monk. He sang with Bobby McFerrin in April 2010, and Bob Weir and The Marin Symphony May 2011.
Bryan is also the founder and CEO of iMusicast, which from 1999 to 2005 produced live webcasts
from its concert venue in Oakland. By creating a unique hybrid of a webcast studio, recording studio, video sound stage and concert
venue, iMusicast was able to bring DVD and streaming media production services within reach of independent record labels and artists.
Through six years of concerts, iMusicast became the epicenter of a vital East Bay music scene, enjoying enormous support and goodwill
from fans, local bands and national touring acts.
Bryan is a faculty member at San Francisco State University, and Chabot College, teaching recording technology, music business and live concert sound technology.
Michael is a Grammy Award winning recording engineer and producer with more than 20 years experience. His credits include Smashmouth, Santana, Rancid, Less Than Jake, Green Day, The KGB, Union 13, X, AFI, Testament, Metallica, Vicious Rumors, Powerhouse, Abraxas Pool, Laaz Rockit, Joe Satriani, Todd Rundgren, Tesla, Eddie Money, Death Angel and countless others.
Winter, Engineer
Winter skillfully combines deep technical knowledge with artistic creativity while recording, mixing, and mastering activities for both music and film. He has been an accomplished musician for over 25 years and for the past 10 years he's been producing, recording, mixing, & mastering a healthy slice of the local music & film scene, defining and refining primary workflows for both music and film-sound projects. He has an established track record of engineering live multi-track recording, audio post-production, commercial voice-overs, field recordings, location sound for movies, and forensic audio. In addition, he has worked as an instructor at the California Recording Institute & taught recording at the Blue Bear School of Music and Pyramind.
M.J. Fisher, Engineer
While attending Berklee College of Music, M.J. worked with a variety of young artists and bands both recording and playing. After logging hundreds of hours of Berklee Studios' time, he graduated with his B.Mus. in Music Production and Engineering, and soon thereafter relocated to the East Bay. His credits are varied, ranging from recordings for The Memorials, Laurie Lewis, Jerry Lawson & Talk Of The Town, D'mitri The Clairvoyant, Eddie Kim, and Over Legend, to concert engineering for Kris-Jin and the rest of the MoonTravelers, in-house at the Berklee Performance Center, and freelance in his hometown of Reno, NV. Recently, M.J. has finished recordings for the likes of Lawrence Preston, Saltwater Heelers, and Will Brown as well as Annie Hyra's vocals for the benefit album, Love Is Plural. He also ran front of house at the Tea Room stage at the 2011 Health and Harmony Festival in Santa Rosa and will be mixing for adbacadabra and Orchestra Kentucky this November.
