The Skyline control room features a Pro Tools HD3 system loaded with plugins and a Digidesign Control|24. It includes an excellent selection of microphone preamps and outboard gear. The room was acoustically designed with help from renowned acoustician Chips Davis. It provides a great monitoring environment and can be configured for both stereo and 5.1 surround mixing. Unlike most control rooms, ours features natural light.
The live room is a versatile tracking room with a balance of absorption, diffusion and reflective surfaces. Its ambience makes it ideal for recording drums, full bands, choirs and other large ensembles. When not being used to record music it serves double duty as a photo and video production stage with lighting, green screen, blue screen, white screen, and grey screen backdrops. This enables us to provide your band with a high quality video for live webcast, on demand streaming media or DVD.
The vocal room is primarily used for recording vocals and acoustic instruments. It is heavlily isolated and is treated with lots of absorption. It provides a tight sound and an incredibly low noise floor.
Fully isolated and stocked with amps, guitars and speaker cabs, this room is remotely accessible from any of the other rooms.
The B room serves as a secondary control room for composition, video editing, DVD authoring, tape transfers and vocal production.
